NAPLAN Results
NAPLAN is an annual assessment for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. It tests the types of skills that are essential for every child to progress through school and life. The tests cover skills in reading, writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation, and numeracy. The assessments are undertaken every year in the second full week in May.
Your child’s NAPLAN Results are sent home to families and a summary or results published on Compass.
PAT Test Results
ACER’s Progressive Achievement approach is used in thousands of schools in Australia and around the world. The approach focuses on assessing and monitoring student growth over time and is underpinned by an understanding that students of the same age and in the same year of school can be at very different points in their learning and development.
At Trafalgar Primary School students are assessed using PAT in both Reading and Maths each year. When available these scores are published on Compass.
