What is SWPBS?
The goal of School Wide Positive Behaviour Support at Trafalgar Primary School is to create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment that enhances our school culture where we maximise individual academic and social growth.
SWPBS is an evidence based approach and is based on the belief that behavioural success links to academic success and that when we provide appropriate behaviour supports and strategies for all our students they are more likely to achieve academic success as well as social success. Students learn appropriate behavior in the same way they learn to read – through instruction, practise, feedback and encouragement.
